Are you interested in becoming a better musician? Want to do it with a trombone? I can help!
In the past I have taught lessons at local schools, as well as my local university, maintaining a small-but-steady studio of 5-10 students at a time. I have not taught private lessons since I moved to Wichita, though I do have years of experience with middle school aged up to collegiate level students.
As an instructor, I can provide assistance finding pieces for state solo competition- as well connecting you or your student with an accompanist. I am also able to record and stream lessons live via Ustream or stream via Skype (if you are a parent and would like to follow along, or would like to view at a later time.) These tools are free, and I do not charge extra to provide this service.
Topics covered:
Contest literature

FAQ:
Q: How much do lessons cost?
A: Beginning June 1, 2011, I will be able to offer lessons at following rates:
At my home: $15 per 30-minute lesson, $28 per 55-minute lesson
Skype: $15 per 30-minute lesson, $28 per 55-minute lesson
At your house: $22 per 30-minute lesson, $40 per 55-minute lesson
Q: Where are you located?
A: I will soon be living in the Riverside area of Wichita, directly across the river from Wichita North High School. With supplemental materials close at hand, I am able to offer a lower rate if you come to me.
Q: What does the student need to bring to their leson?
A: Your instrument and any music you might want/need to work on (possibly band music or a solo). I highly reccommend a notebook if you are serious about tracking your musical progress, but we can work on that together.
Q: How do I pay for lessons?
A: I ask that you pay for four (4) lessons at a time, to prevent student no-shows. If you or your student proves to be dependable, I might be able to relax this. If you have special circustances, let me know- I'm sure we can work something out.
Q: Do you accept credit cards?
A: Yes, I can accept all major credit cards (as well as Paypal). Just add $1.00 to your lesson fee to cover the transaction cost!
